Meet Ash

Welcome to The Epiphany Effect!

I’m Ash, the voice behind The Epiphany Effect Podcast and the creator of this space dedicated to inspiration, personal growth, and meaningful connections. If you’re someone who loves a good aha moment—those profound realizations that shift your perspective and push you forward—you’re in the right place.

My Journey

For years, I let myself believe that creating a podcast was for other people—not me. I built my own ceiling, convincing myself that my voice and insights weren’t needed. But then, certain quotes kept surfacing in my life, nudging me to recognize a truth: I was getting in my own way.

One book changed everything—The Gifts of Imperfection by Brené Brown. It was the catalyst that pushed me to take action, which is why you’ll find two of her quotes in my first four episodes and an entire bonus episode summarizing this life-changing book. I realized that if these words could move me to action, they could do the same for others. That’s how The Epiphany Effect Podcast was born.

Why Quotes?

I’ve been fascinated by quotes my entire life. They capture wisdom, experience, and emotion in just a few words, often sparking the kind of deep reflection that leads to real change. In each episode, I take a famous quote and explore it from multiple angles—diving into its meaning, drawing practical takeaways, and making connections to the modern world. My goal? To help you see these ideas in a way that resonates with your own experiences and inspires you to grow.

Beyond the Podcast

My work extends beyond the mic. My blog is where I break down soft skills like active listening and facilitation—skills that are critical yet often overlooked in leadership and personal development. With my background in leadership, coaching, and change management, I blend real-world experience with research-backed strategies to help individuals and teams communicate more effectively and lead with confidence.

By day, I work in operational excellence, supporting leadership development, continuous improvement, and cultural transformation across agricultural sites in North America. It’s through this work that I discovered my passion for growth—not just for myself, but in helping others reach their potential. The Epiphany Effect is a separate space where I bring that same passion to life in a more personal, reflective way. It’s where lived experience meets curiosity, and where insight turns into action.

Who I Am

Beyond the business, I’m a wife and mom to three boys who keep life very interesting. I’m also on a personal mission to run a half marathon in every state (7 down, 43 to go!). I’m deeply passionate about the 4-H and FFA Organizations, and since 2009, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a 4-H Judge in Photography, Creative Arts, and Communication. Recently, I stepped into a new role as a 4-H Leader, continuing my commitment to youth development and lifelong learning.
